The Art of Approaching Women by Joseph Matthews is a product with which I am intimately acquainted.

It all started a few years ago when I had a problem. I'd been travelling around the world for a couple of years living life with no real concerns and doing a lot of growing up at the same time. I learned a lot of skills that would help me in business for years to come, and I'd overcome a lot of personal handicaps at the same time.

Eventually on my own I worked through my issues and got the courage to speak to girls and even managed a few times to get the point where I asked them out.

That's when things really started to hurt. I'd been rejected many times in my sales career, but that never really mattered so much because the rejection was never personal. When a girl rejected me though, that was pretty personal. I would ask her out on a date, and she would say stuff like she was busy that night, or washing her hair, or walking her dog and every other excuse under the sun.

I decided that this was something I really needed to get handled because as much as having every cool toy known to man made me happy, not having anybody to share it with was a bit of a bummer.

99% Of Dating Advice Is Garbage

I read pretty much every dating advice and dating tips newsletter and article on the net that I could find, and everything always sounded great until I had to put it into practise. Following the advice of some well meaning wannabe-gurus I ended up getting slapped, stood up and lied to even more.

There were two main eBooks that I found that really helped me. One of them was Doubly Your Dating by David Deangelo, and the other was The Art of Approaching by Joseph Matthews.

What I really loved about The Art of Approaching was the scientific approach to the journey from novice to pretty much almost becoming a full time pick-up artist. I like to call it the smile test. It comes only after you've mastered the art of eye contact (which Joseph goes into in great detail - it'll blow your mind how powerful it is) and learned to slow your body movements down but in and of itself, it's very simple.

All you do is...

When you see a girl walking down the street that you want to talk to, and I'm talking any girl here (I've gotten Famous Actresses/Singers and a Miss World Competitor's numbers with this technique) make bold and obvious eye contact with her, put on your biggest smile (like you own the nightclub they just walked into), and if she holds eye contact and smiles back even just for a second...say "Hi." Then Pause.....Pause......and Pause some more.....

If you keep that smile and maintain eye contact, she WILL say Hi back.   

From there on out, well, use your imagination.
